LIZ
She/Her
Liz was born and raised in Cornwall and joined the board in 2017. She is passionate about creating space for 2SLGBTQ+ families and youth in Cornwall to find representation and a sense of community. She loves to cook/bake, take photos and spend time with friends and family. She has two toddlers and is so grateful that they will grow up in town that celebrates diversity.
ALEX
He/Him
Alex was born and raised in Cornwall and has recently joined Diversity Cornwall as Treasurer to help out the community. He is an avid gamer in all aspects and edits a dungeons & dragons podcast in his spare time. He loves creating things from cooking to building. He is an avid explorer of our fair city and finds all it has to offer from the local thrift store to the little family restaurants.

When she is not volunteering on the Board, Ally is a mother of two and a child care provider and she is enthusiastic about creating safe and inclusive spaces for all.

KURT

Kurt is Diversity’s Youth Engagement Coordinator. He is a proud gay man looking to help everybody grow up comfortable in their own skin, and an activist for everybody to get to live their lives happily on their own terms. When he is not out fighting for inclusive spaces for queer youth of Cornwall, he is streaming videogames, playing Pokémon, and providing tech support.

Rebecca Sorrell is a passionate queer activist and advocate dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities. A dynamic voice in Cornwall’s theatre scene, Rebecca is also a devoted mother of two and an ardent supporter of intersectional feminism. Her commitment to combating transphobia and homophobia drives her to raise awareness and foster inclusivity through her advocacy.
MARIO
He/Him
Mario moved to Cornwall 12 years ago with his family and proud dad of two amazing kids For six years, he ran the Cornwall Adult Hockey Academy, sharing his love for the sport with others. Today, Mario dedicates time and energy to supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community, continuing to make a positive impact both personally and professionally.
